Photographers requires years of education and training, our designers have as much training as our clients in their fields.  Generally when designing a photography logo, we will start with design concepts that the customer wants to build upon.  We would get feedback from our customers on the type of photography that is used.

Photography is a creative medium with different functions.  Some do weddings, portraits, head shots, industrial etc. In designing we know that some logos will be used with a more stylized font for say wedding photograph versus the use of a font that is more rustic type fonts that is more geared for nature photography logos.  Wedding photography logos are examples that will have more artsy and stylized type fonts.  These fonts will generally be the words themselves as most wedding logos do not have objects such as cameras, tripods or other photographic equipment.
