Flash on the other hand is much more difficult because the software to build a flash based website is more challenging to use. A flash based website using Adobe’s Flash to design a more viewer rich website with motion graphics to enhance the look of your website. Compared to the static look of a html website. You need an extensive knowledge of the software to build an amazing website with flash. Adobe did a great job in making software such as Flash but you do need to take the time to learn the software. Flash websites are highly dynamic and can potentially involve fancy looking motion throughout the website to make the website more interactive.
Advantages and disadvantages.
The advantage of a html website is that its cheap to design, relatively easy to build and still looks great. Most people who want a Flash website would need to hire a professional to design a website for them. Html websites are also faster to load. Website that are html based tend to loan in an instant because there is any fancy motion to load when the user comes across your website. The disadvantage is that there is only so much you can do with a html website. The website isn’t very dynamic and doesn’t provide a lot of user feedback to actions done on the website.
The advantages of a Flash based website is that the website is completely dynamic. Every action on a flash website returns a visual confirmation of an action. The website looks more professional for people who desire a more interactive website. Website of this nature tend to be more artistic and entertaining. The disadvantage is that generally people can’t build their own sites without extensive usage of the software. Most people hire designers to design their websites for them. Therefore the websites are more expensive as well. Also load times can be a pain to wait for the page to load. Most people don’t have any patience to wait for the site to load and may just leave.
